Web Content Producer

Our client is looking for a mid level Web Content Producer to join the Operations team. This individual must have a strong understanding of the web and an aptitude for technology, as the primary responsibility for this position will be the production of web content for , the internal communications portal. The Web Content Producer also coordinates and manages the production of web content projects for internal communications and schedules and executes the content entry and publishing effort.

Responsibilities:
• Under the direction of the managing editor, responsible for day-to-day content maintenance in the content management system
• Coordinate and monitor the production of web content projects for business initiatives
• Lightweight design and layout of web pages
• Manage content from a variety of sources (content authors, designers, photo editors) and coordinate with cross-functional teams to publish content
• Executes QA on all projects before publication
• Supports the optimization of graphics and visuals used in web content
• Assists in the documentation and communication of processes, calendars and other key tools to support content production
• Troubleshooting technical problems with content entry and presentation

Requirements/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• 2-3 years of experience in web development and design or related experience required, experience with content management systems and/or enterprise portal software preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and browser-display issues on web pages
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent editing and proofreading skills
• Strong collaboration skills with writers, editors, content strategists, etc.
• Candidate must have the ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects; use time management, prioritization skills and independent judgment
• Strong critical thinking, creative concepting, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of the principles of user-centered content development, interface design, and information architecture
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
