Our client, a Fortune 500 creative design software client, is looking for a Web Content Writer/Manager for a long term contract opportunity

As part of creative strategy & services within the Global Marketing Organization; this role is going to drive, manage and develop content for our channel facing website - aimed at the Clients’ channel partners and resellers, who form a critical component in driving the Clients’ revenue and software sales. We are looking for someone who has in depth knowledge and expertise managing a web property including: web content project management, user experience, CMS systems and web analytics.

To succeed in this role, you must be:
- a great web content project lead & communicator
- Energetic and savvy a handling multiple groups of internal stakeholders along with guiding the larger team with vision as well as tactical implementation and high quality output.
- A strong leader who can work closely with vendors/agencies and direct interaction design, visual design, make technology selection and establish and report on metrics.

You must have significant B2B web marketing experience and be strategic in understanding our channel requirements and partner with all stakeholders to help drive the business.

Responsibilities & duties:
• Work closely with product marketing, channel marketing and sales to gather requirements and translate into web and content strategy along with establishing metrics.
• Manage the entire web production process with our vendor including developing UI/UX flows, web page design, copy for web pages, project schedule, QA/testing and final deployment.
• Supervise the vendor and facilitate decisions and documentation around the web development process.
• Lead the review process with multiple stakeholders, collect and rationalize feedback and then direct vendor/other team members to implement within budget and schedule.
• Work with localization lead and own responsibility to ensure localized content, schedule and process is in sync with overall website goals and objectives.
• Bear a mentality of anticipating issues ahead of critical launches and prepare contingency plans.
• Work effectively as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team and own communications with all team members regarding the website.

Skills and experience:
• Substantial experience (7+ years) with web project management and web strategy.
• Experience leading content development for websites.
• In-depth understanding of web production and web development technologies including CMS systems.
• Deep experience with user flow, user interaction and content organization.
• At least 5 years of experience developing and executing content strategy, sales enablement in a B2B environment. Understanding of sales organization valued.
• Proven skill managing web content projects, multiple priorities, and workload.
• Appreciation for design and an aptitude for visual solutions valued.
• Self-motivated, organized, and functions well without too much guidance.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Graduate degree in Business, Marketing, English, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field.

• This is a 12 month, full-time, onsite, W-2 contract position located in San Jose, CA
