Web Content Manager

A medical device company in the Peninsula is looking for an exceptional Web Content Manager with an interest in technology product marketing, to join a dynamic marketing team focused on results-driven strategic marketing.

The right candidate will use their experience with the latest digital media tactics to produce digital campaigns and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets such as websites, landing pages, email blasts, mobile applications, and social media channels. The results should be compelling digital campaigns that can influence lead generation and fuel the growth of the company.

This is a CONTRACT-TO-HIRE position in Palo Alto, starting as soon as the right person is found.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Website Management : Serve as the day-to-day lead for the company's websites – managing work queues, and making page, content and creative updates. This also includes managing the approval process of content, performing user testing and quarterly reviews of website content for accuracy.
Partner with marketing colleagues to provide web support and recommendations for their initiatives, such as landing page conversion optimization (A/B testing and offer testing background).

+ SEO: Develop and implement a national SEO (organic and PPC) strategy to meet specific lead-generation target numbers on budget, owning the day-to-day management of paid search campaigns including keyword generation, ad copy testing, bid management, landing page optimization, budget management, etc.

+ Social Media: Experience in growing and engaging online audiences via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and blogs – helping develop and implement the company’s social media strategy and oversee all aspects of social content, including writing and editing of social content, development of social media campaigns, community management and engagement, and social advertising.

+ Analysis: Understand how to measure the effectiveness of online marketing efforts – regularly analyzing and reporting on all online marketing initiatives overseen by the position, including website(s), organic search rankings, paid search metrics, email campaigns, social media, etc., to continuously optimize overall online mix and performance.

+ Project/Vendor Management: Serve as project manager and primary IT-facing resource for the marketing team for all digital and social media campaigns. This means project managing campaign development and implementation from start to finish, including back-end campaign integrations, as well as managing development projects in and testing new functionality in Manage external digital and social media support venders; evaluating their performance annually, negotiating agreements, and seeking qualified vendors as needed.

- 5 - 7 years of successful digital marketing experience including web/online design & development
- Familiar with CMS – Drupal and Wordpress
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and/or relevant digital media design production applications
- Experience creating, implementing and monitoring social media ad campaigns
- Marketing automation software experience preferred (specifically Pardot)
- Strong oral and written communication skills as well as project management skills

 Ability to execute against both short term deliverables and long term strategic initiatives
 Successful track record in previous positions
 Bachelor’s degree. Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications a plus.
