Web Content Manager

We're looking for a Web Content Manager for a contract opportunity in the Kissimmee / Orlando area.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, writing, editing, and proofreading site content, as well as interactions with project teams, business partners, and marketing members of our organization.

This person will work closely with the technical team to maintain site standards with regard to new development.

The ideal candidate will also have experience managing online marketing and outreach campaigns.

Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.


Must Have:
• Able to create, develop and manage content for organization’s web presence (requires working with content management software)
• Able to ensure all documents meet established content standards and works with developers to assess any technical challenges in displaying the content
• Able to coordinate web projects across departments
• Able to work across departmental teams to maintain and develop a master content calendar for all web properties
• Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties
• Able to copy-edit and proofread all old and new web content (past experience as writer, editor, and/or proofreader for e-commerce web site is bonus)
• Assure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference
• Work cooperatively with key team members, clients and vendors

Job Requirements:
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Advanced knowledge of HTML and experience with content management systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
• 3-5 years experience managing content and production for high traffic websites
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
