Web Content Manager

We're looking for a talented web content manager to oversee all marketing content across multiple platforms, develop and implement social media strategies and tactics that grow our members, engage and retain them, and help convert them into life long customers. Promising candidates will have an intimate understanding of the impact content can have on the sales and marketing process. You're passionate about writing great content and consider yourself a storyteller who caters to your audience(s), and you love the challenge of creating new content from ideation to completion. Ideal candidates will also have experience translating client and creative direction into compelling and effective marketing communications and copy. Must have proven ability to write clear, concise and strategic messaging (including emails campaigns, press releases, promotions, and other marketing collateral) that drive business results, and support key marketing initiatives.

Skills and Deliverables:

  • Write clear, concise and strategic messaging (including emails, press releases, promotions, direct mail pieces and other marketing materials) that drive business results, support key marketing initiatives and inspire action.

  • Write industry-centric web content that uses the appropriate voice for a particular industry/client.

  • Condense significant amounts of messaging from industry leaders into succinct communications.

  • Continually ascertain workflow efficiency and accurate completion of projects according to deadlines.

  • Edit as needed, checking for formatting, grammar, punctuation and spelling.

  • Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have 3-5 years of web content or copywriting experience working in fast paced environments.

  • Passion for writing creative and strategic marketing copy.

  • Ability to convert creative concepts into strategic copy.

  • Understanding of all digital channels (SEO, Social, Content, Paid)..

  • Thorough understanding and ability to use HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and SQL.

  • Past experience building audiences either online or offline.

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Ability to complete projects efficiently with minimal direction.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (in advertising, marketing, journalism, marketing, PR, communications, English or related field preferred).

  • Experience in the public sector industry (preferred but not required).
