Position Summary:

Web Content Editor, reporting to the Manager, eMarketing, will be self-directed and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. S/he should have experience hand coding HTML for the creation of web pages through a content management system. S/he must have and strong web writing capabilities, copy editing experience and familiarity with AP style. S/he will write compelling copy for emails, landing pages and banner ads. This individual will need to utilize SEO best practices as they are producing content for a variety of audiences and clients. Attention to detail and working with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines are a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write compelling copy for web and email for promotions and marketing campaigns Builds website marketing landing pages using HTML and CSSAbility to prioritize multiple projects with varying deadlines, such as copywriting for email campaigns, and building and editing landing pages.
• Maintain extremely high writing and production standards, as well as the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1 – 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Must have prior writing experience, web writing experience highly desirable
• Beginner to intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop and Dreamweaver
• Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in fast-paced, multi-campaign environments
• Able to work independently and proactively, identifying issues and raising them to management, as well as offering potential solutions
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
