Our client is seeking an experienced communications professional to manage the content development and editorial operations for a public- facing financial website as well as manage a large content migration for a site redesign project. The Web Content Editor is responsible for providing marketing and communications support to all lines of business, including graphic design, copywriting, web management, internal communications, and marketing consulting.


Responsibilities include:

• Write/edit marketing content for public website and digital communications.

• Follow and enforce established style guidelines and brand standards.

• Create and maintain site-specific strategies, standards, and guidelines.

• Lead multiple simultaneous projects and maintain project schedules.

• Work effectively across cross-functional teams.

• Oversee team’s contributions in a large content migration/redesign project.

• Oversee a communications consultant and project manager

• Develop and maintain overall website strategy.

Basic qualifications

• 8+ years communications experience

Minimum qualifications

• 5+ years writing/editing online marketing content

• 3+ years managerial experience

• Minimum 4 years of B to B marketing and communications experience

• Strong writing and editing skills with experience developing web content for financial services

products and services

• Outstanding interpersonal skills: able to establish relationships, build rapport, and communicate

orally

• Proven ability to develop appropriate work plans, manage aggressive deadlines, and balance

competing priorities

• Ability to travel

Preferred skills:

• Financial services industry experience

• Website migration experience

• Experience with online marketing and social media
