Web Content Coordinator

Description Of Work:
Works with clients and departments, as well as the marketing team to develop, traffic, and deliver effective programs for the web, social media, and related electronic outlets through content development, added web functionality, and maintenance. Performs research, acts as a web liaison, updates the web site, mobile platforms, application requirements, and fulfill the client’s unique web needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Implements marketing and promotional plans for clients and programmatic initiatives on the web in collaboration with other marketing staff and clients.

Develops web communications strategies and solutions related to digital marketing.

Writes original copy for the web, social media postings, and related marketing pieces, optimized for web readability, reading level, audience, and search engines.

Coordinates plans, timelines, processes, procedures, training and functional requirement documents for
web-based projects.

Coordinates day-to-day web updates, postings, and helps maintain RTD’s ongoing presence in social media (e.g.,
Twitter, Facebook)

All job-related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field

Minimum 3 years experience as a web content/social media coordinator in a fast-paced agency or in-house
creative setting

Minimum 3 years applied web and social media experience including writing, editing and proofing

Minimum 3 years experience in client relations/customer service position

Experience in marketing/advertising concepts, strategies, and multimedia marketing communications media

Proficient in HTML, CSS, web analytics, and content management systems

Ability to work cross-platform in MAC and PC environments

Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.

Sound judgment.

Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details.

CUSTOMER FOCUS: communicates courteously and proactively, learns customer’s short-and long-term needs, sees issues from customer’s perspective

INNOVATIVE: generates and explores different, creative, imaginative or unique approaches; challenges conventional practices; thinks outside the box
