One of our valued clients in the Energy industry is seeking a Web Business Analyst for a long term temporary role onsite in Kingston, RI.
The Web Business Analyst is a role vital in implementing the company's desired digital strategies. The right candidate will act as a partner with key internal stakeholders by working to understand their business strategies and objectives for the Web. The Business Analyst will translate those strategies into tangible outcomes following existing requirements processes that deliver these outcomes. He/she will coordinate proposals and planning activities. These requests may include business process engineering, process change and require change management activities to be managed.
Main activities will include: • Engage with process owners, stakeholders and business executives as necessary to understand business and project objectives and their relationship to the digital strategy • Document business requirements and pre-conditions for a successful delivery • Participates in daily and weekly status meetings and other project activities as required. • Contributes to the creation of project charters, scopes of work and other relevant documents. • Updates project plans, status reports, and other project-related deliverables and provides frequent communication to stakeholders. • Identifies project risks and issues. • Previous experience on international projects is desired.
Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree • 1 - 3 years of Business Analyst or project management experience • Experience with Agile/SCRUM framework is desired. • Able to present findings and make recommendations to stakeholders • Strong organizational skills, ability to effectively prioritize work, meet deadlines and work on multiple tasks independently • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly-evolving environment • Learn quickly and be an independent problem solver • Excellent communication skills
