Required Skills
B.A./B.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
Must have three to five years of related experience developing applications for the web.

Must have written a PHP app, Django app or WordPress plugin within the past three to five years. ** For PHP/Django, there is no specific project … this is “from scratch” web-based application development. These projects have a wide range of functionality. A current project, for example, is an application for their Rental Housing office that allows visitors to agree to terms of the rental application, place a deposit, select a rental unit, sign the lease, etc. This application is being used by some students who are foreign nationals, so they will not be on-campus before moving here to come to school, so they must conduct the entire process online. Other apps are less sophisticated, and some are more so. **

Must have their code in Github, and must be at ease having their code reviewed and assessed.
Must respect coding standards, and respect those who will maintain their code for its lifecycle.
Knows the challenges and risks associated with high volume web services (100+ million page views/year).
Has experience or strong interest in mobile app development.
Thinks that coding is enjoyable as an extracurricular activity.
Enjoys working in a team-oriented, team-building environment.
Likes the idea of tuition remission to further (or finish) one's studies.
