We have an immediate need for an Analytics Manager for our agency client. This is for a 90-day freelance gig in LA.

In terms of qualifications, we need someone who is technical in terms of creating custom dashboards, filtering traffic from paid search, direct, organic, etc and tie into other conversions and KPIs. This person needs to be familiar with tracking events, segmenting traffic and be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely GA reporting.

Job Purpose
• Manage data acquisition and analysis
• Guide campaign and site side analytics strategy
• Develop reports and share optimization recommendations

Scope of Responsibility
• Define site side and campaign analytics strategy for clients
• Support teams in the creation of campaign specific digital KPIs to inform ongoing campaign optimization
• Analyze results and develop optimization recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and deploy reporting dashboards
• Manage and oversee data integration and aggregation from ad-servers, site analytic tools, publishers and other data sources
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting/systems maintenance and communication
• Develop and oversee the presentation of results and learnings
• Meet and evaluate research and analytics vendors
• Perform across a spectrum of communication channels, including site side, social, digital display, mobile, SEM and SEO.

Tasks & Competencies
• Knowledge of site side, search and campaign analytics strategy best practices
• Familiarity with program measurement, test design and financial modeling
• Familiarity with 1st and 3rd party analytics tools including Omniture, MediaMind, and Google Analytics
• Languages (helpful): XML, HTML
• Proficiency in scoping and deploying analytics systems and toolkits
• Proficiency in deploying A/B and multivariate tests
