This is an impressive, contract-to-hire opportunity for someone seeking to advance their career in the eCommerce and web space. This is a growing, retail, consumer products company with a boatload of fun products offered through their website

This person will be a critical member of the Marketing team responsible for helping to drive revenue growth by analyzing data gleaned from existing programs and websites and making appropriate recommendations.

You will:
• Identify opportunities to improve KPI performance through analyzing website and customer data from multiple sources
• Support site and marketing channel testing plans by recommending best test methodology, structure and analyzing results
• Consult with Marketing team to ensure effective business intelligence (analytics, KPIs, analysis and reporting) for evaluating channel performance and conducting ROI analyses
• Work with internal teams to identify potential opportunities and conduct analyses
• Respond to ad hoc requests and educate internal clients to ensure appropriate use of data, research recommendations or software tools
• Function as analytics consultant to key leaders and teams
• Provide support to business planning, strategic planning and marketing strategic initiatives
• Initiate and oversee marketing analytics activities of external vendors
• Report on and communicate successes, learning and new opportunities

You should have:
• Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Statistics, Marketing or Economics or other relevant field of study.
• 2+ years’ experience in website analytics, preferably in ecommerce retail
• Passion for marketing analytics.
• ADVANCED knowledge and experience with web analytics tools including Google Analytics and Omniture
• Solid technical understanding of website structure and development
• Ability to apply logical thinking to define problems, collect/consolidate/analyze data and draw valid conclusions from potentially incomplete data
• Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
• Understanding of p&l development and analysis
• Solid knowledge of digital media channels including paid search, display advertising, email, social networks
• Good budget management skills and project/time management abilities / organization skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and superb attention to detail
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
