Web Analyst

The Web Analyst is responsible for helping our client's Ecommerce Business Unit know and understand the strengths and opportunities of web presence. Use web analytic tools to spot trends, highlight successful promotions, measure the efficacy of our affiliate partners, and analyze our four websites in multiple dimensions. Providing insight to our leadership is critical. We want to hear your actionable recommendations! This position will analyze website performance and trends to improve overall Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Tasks include generating reports, tagging the company's websites, providing analysis and valuable insights, setting up testing initiatives and interpreting their results and using data to help drive quality decisions to impact organization’s bottom line. And let’s have fun at the same time!
1. Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly reports of on-site performance, customer traffic and conversion. Prioritize ad hoc data requests from other departments.
2. Formulate and present actionable recommendations to improve on-site User Experience and improve overall KPI’s
3. Assist in maintaining database accuracy and integrity to ensure high degree of confidence and accuracy within analyses.
4. Collaborate with Usability & Design (U&D) team to ensure all links & pages are properly tagged on a weekly basis across multiple sites.
5. Partner with Merchandising and Online Marketing teams in analyzing promotional and marketing strategies and make recommendations to enhance their performance
6. Implement tests, measure results and effectively communicate key findings
7. Manage schedules, creation and timely delivery of executive dashboards
8. Provide data-driven business insights into features and functionality that influence fundamental improvements to the site
9. Collect business requirements for new tagging requests and site enhancements from BA group
10. Standardize and automate report delivery
11. Adapt to changes in the work environment and can change approach or method to best fit the
situation

Ideal Skills for Success
 Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
 Minimum of 1 year of web analytics package experience (i.e. Coremetrics, Omniture, Google
Analytics)
 Prefer some SQL or JavaScript or testing tools
 Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite
 Verbal and written communication skills
 Problem-solving and analytical skills combined with strong business acumen
 Ability to present analyses in a compelling manner that is easy to understand and act upon
 Ability to work with multiple cross-functional groups, including business and technical teams
 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and deliver results in a timely fashion and
manage multiple projects at once
