Our Client (Agency) is looking for a Web Analyst that will thrive in an environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, innovation and collaboration. This position focuses online behavioral analytics and requires a minimum of three years of experience.

Candidates should have a strong desire understand how consumers' live their online lives. The Web Analyst must have an aptitude for numerical data; possess an inquiring mind, keep-up to date with new and developing platforms, emerging trends and strategies within the digital space. This is a very diverse and exciting role for the right person.

Basic Function:

The Web Analyst is expected to be extremely analytical, detail oriented, and team oriented. The analyst will be responsible for the collection, analysis and interpretation of online statistics; producing traffic reports, analyzing and predicting trends. In addition, the Web Analyst will provide clear articulation of key findings and insights to the internal team (account, creative, media and tech).

The Web Analyst must be proficient with current analytics platforms, implementing new platforms, developing custom reports and key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards, providing detailed analysis, and the ability to analyze social, web, mobile, demographic, ethnographic and psychographic data.

Role and Position Responsibilities:

Assess performance metrics and click stream data for online/offline marketing campaigns and other traffic driving efforts

Monitor trends on core client digital properties with internal and external data sources

Understand business needs, develop analysis methodology and optimize results

Utilize data-driven insights to make recommendations for performance optimization

Provide competitive reports based on 3rd party data (total traffic, traffic sources, etc.)

Evaluate websites and its inbound sources and measure organic search traffic (SEO)

Configure website platforms for initial implementation and ongoing use

Ensure data integrity and proper technical implementation of tags

What you need to have:

Minimum two (2) years experience developing and presenting statistical, online and behavioral analytics.

Experience with website analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Omniture, or similar

Online media – Basic understanding of media buys, ad serving (e.g. DART) and media analytics as well as the ability to work closely with the media team (this role must have the aptitude for to tying in media performance and it’s affectivity on web performance and other branded assets)

Problem Solving – ability to quickly solve problems in a fast paced environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate with clients in all formats: verbal, presentation, email, written documents

Detail Oriented – Organized, excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task to meet client’s business objectives
A degree in Economics, Computer Sciences, or Mathematics
