Web Analyst

Do you have demonstrated expertise in tracking, interpreting, and reporting visitor traffic and online behavior? As a central member of the Marketing Analytics team, you will be responsible for gathering, structuring, and analyzing data to derive actionable insights about visitor behavior and response to marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Define, analyze, and manage web traffic reports
• Monitor, optimize, and measure web trends, traffic metrics, and funnel performance
• Coordinate with digital marketers and website developers to implement tags to identify channel traffic and conversion
• Evaluate digital marketing campaign effectiveness and make recommendations to optimize and improve performance
• Create, manage, and distribute data and insights via regular and ad-hoc reporting including statistical calculations, graphical representation, and written analysis
• Collaborate with marketing managers and business line owners to suggest SEO and website improvements to increase website traffic
• Regularly test and improve online creative content using A/B and multivariate testing
• Develop compelling recommendations and communicate them effectively with the various stakeholders and business line managers

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in marketing, economics, statistics, business administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
• Experience working with web analytics tools such as Webtrends, Omniture, Crazy Egg, etc.
• Expertise analyzing web traffic patterns and metrics
• Basic programing knowledge to be able to communicate needs to Web Operations team
• Database/data mining experience and advance knowledge of Excel
• Ability to perform statistical analysis and be familiar with statistical analysis software such as SPSS
• Demonstrated ability to create visual dashboards and reports that highlight important trends, events that must be considered
• Robust knowledge of digital marketing strategy
• Prove ability to convert raw data into actionable insights
• Talent communicating insights and recommendations verbally, visually, and through written analysis
• Experience conducting and analyzing A/B testing

Nice to haves:
• 2+ years of hands-on experience using Webtrends, Omniture, Google Analytics or similar enterprise web analytics platform
• Experience programming/debugging online content created with web languages including HTML, XML, JavaScript and Flash
• Experience working with relational databases
