This agency specializing in medical clients is seeking a web analyst with 3-5 years experience and knowledge of Omiture ,WebTrends, and Google Analytics.

The Web Analyst plays a key role on the national advertising revenue operations team, supporting the development, implementation, and analytics reporting for the team’s programmed solutions products and distribution relationships.

The Web Analyst position is ideal for a self-motivated individual that is passionate about data – has 2-3 years experience working with web analytics reporting including implementation, mining and interpreting data for interactive products and/or online marketing campaigns, monitoring and analyzing key metrics, providing insights about performance data and highlighting how reporting data aligns with defined business goals and metrics.

The candidate should be ready to assume the role’s responsibilities which include:
- Preparing and producing analytics reports on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis
- Managing data pulls of varying size and complexity
- Analyzing data from the consumer usage of interactive products, providing insights about consumer usage and proactively making recommendations to improve the consumer experience
- Working with internal stakeholders to establish KPIs and related metrics for new editorial products, major site enhancements, major site redesigns
- Assisting in the development of business requirements to capture web analytics data to support client-facing, contractual reporting commitments, translating client's goals and expectations into actionable reporting deliverables that technical and product teams can design, develop, and deliver
- Coordinating and collaborating with technology team to ensure metrics standards are developed, implemented and appropriately tested/QA’ed for all sponsor programs
- Collaborating with implementation teams to ensure metrics requirements align with development capabilities
- Completing projects of varying size and complexity on aggressive timelines
- Preparing written analysis and presenting findings and recommendations, to internal and external partners, with clarity and recommendations for specific actions to improve product
- Ensuring accuracy of data reporting

The position requirements include:

Solid understanding of web analytics and industry-standard web analytics platforms
Ability to troubleshoot, identify patterns, and generate new approaches to reporting
Demonstrated understanding of basic marketing principles and how to use qualitative and quantitative information to develop successful solutions with partners
Ability to understand and help gather business reporting requirements that meet business needs of National Advertising team and internal stakeholders
Strong understanding of web analytics implementation throughout websites and applications, and performing quality checks to ensure tracking and reporting is correct
Ability to communicate reporting deliverables with both technical and non-technical internal stakeholders
Seasoned communicator that is comfortable on email, phone and IM, and has ability to effectively manage communication style up, across and down a management structure, within a diversely skilled organization in multiple locations
Organized, reliable self-starter with strong creative thinking, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Demonstrated experience producing deliverables in a fast-growing business environment
Familiarity with editorial publisher and agency environments
Has a sense of humor, a positive attitude and thrives in fast-paced, ego-less interactive advertising sales environments where constant change is the norm and the bar for performance is set high
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, accountability and deadlines, with excellent organizational, time-management, multi-tasking and project management capabilities
In-depth knowledge of website architecture, online business models, and different online marketing strategies
At least 2-3 years professional experience in business intelligence or related area, preferably in digital or interactive industries
Experience using Adobe’s Digital Marketing Suite of tools (Omniture) or similar industry standard web analytics platform
Experience with web analytics implementation
Advanced Microsoft Office skills with expert Excel knowledge (e.g. complex calculations, pivot tables)
Basic knowledge of Ad Servers (e.g. DFA, DFP, Atlas)
General understanding of HTML and web-based technologies
