Our client’s Experience Design group is seeking an Interactive and Visual Designer in their North Austin location.

Responsibilities:
• Conceives innovative user-interface models that explore concepts that lie well outside todays typical application paradigms.
• Creates user task models, user experience architecture, wireframe level design through to prototypes.
• Defines the user experience vision, brand strategy, solution innovation, and prototyping. Identifies user centered design patterns, establishes scenarios, places designs into user context and creates interactions that align to those requirements. Designs rich, visual user-interaction solutions across a range of platforms and mediums.
• Acts as a key player in the strategic design process of projects, assuming responsibility for the overall customer experience strategy and execution.
• Works with outside vendors on producing creative/interactive projects or digital assets.
• Keeps current with the latest in interactive and visual design technologies and investigates new technologies and methods to bring cutting edge functionality for future development.


Job Description:
Defines and owns user experience design deliverables across software project initiatives including ideation, user-flow analysis, wire-framing, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, branding and execution.
Ensures interactive and visual designs achieve the highest level of usability, desirability and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
• Strong skillset in digital design with an emphasis on Windows, mobile (iOS/Android), and web User Interfaces.
• Ability to distill complex problems into intuitive, clean, user friendly designs.
• Expert in User Experience concepts, Information Architecture, and software brand strategy.
• Capable of carrying a product from concept through development.
• Experience with creating detailed workflow specifications and behaviors for development teams.
• Able to follow and apply existing Design Language Guidelines.
• Must be up to date with the latest in interactive and visual design trends.
• Can process and integrate studies, reports, trends, data, and information into plans, deliverables, and recommendations.
• Able to manage projects and mentor junior designers.
• Experience with and data protection/security highly desired.
• Expert in typography, color, space, layout, texture, and visual design for branding/commerce environments.
• Requires strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop and Illustrator).

Must have:
• Undergraduate degree in related field and 4-8 years relevant experience or Graduate degree in a related field, plus 4-6 years relevant experience.
• Experience with multiple marketing digital vehicles (windows apps, websites, mobile, web apps (web user interfaces), native windows apps (desktops apps, win32, .net,), OSX desktop apps)
• Strong skillset in digital design with an emphasis on user interfaces.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual design for branding/commerce environments.
• Strong level proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CSS, HTML, Axure, Invision.


Prefer:
• Candidates with global organization experience
• Candidates with enterprise (HR, IT, etc.) oriented deliverables
