Job Description
We’re looking for a Designer to maintain, iterate, and evolve our visual design language. Define how innovators in Life Sciences explore and interact with one of the world’s largest repositories of healthcare data. The ideal candidate has passion for the presentation layer and is fueled by designing forward-thinking patterns to support brand-defining user experiences. You believe that interface behaviors have the power to build a brand and work tirelessly to ensure thought-provoking interactions are compelling to the user and pixel perfect.


  • Supporting platform roadmap deliverables by advancing user flows and UI specs into engaging design patterns and wireframes
  • Evolving our clients design language by creating interactions that are on-brand and compelling to the user
  • Developing micro interactions to surprise and delight our users
  • Conceptualize design patterns that close the gap between web and mobile
  • Standardize design patterns from multiple products into standardized, on brand, UI components
  • Collaborate with UX Engineer to build out your design patterns and commit them into our UI Library
  • Prototyping to conceptualize and iterate pattern solutions for usability testing and stakeholder buy in utilizing tools like Origami or FramerJS

  • Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of design experience for consumer facing applications with at least 10k users
  • Great visual design skills, demonstrating a pixel perfect eye for detail
  • Excellent knowledge of the products in the Adobe Creative Cloud + Sketch
  • Deep knowledge of design languages & interface guidelines for Apple, Android, and Windows platforms
  • Strong proficiency with interaction tools like Origami + QC, FramerJS, and Pixate
  • Experience with responsive web design
  • A strong portfolio of innovative, original design patterns for Desktop, Mobile and Tablet experiences

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CSS3, SCSS/SASS and/or LESS
  • Familiarity with JavaScript libraries and working with UI/UX Engineers
