Visual Merchandising Designer

A global beauty and skincare retailer is looking for Visual Merchandising Designers. This would be a steady freelance role on an entrepreneurial creative team and would report to the Creative Director.

This retailer is looking to re-brand itself and it's stores, so the Creative Director is looking for conceptual Visual Merchandising Designers and thinkers...someone who can think on their feet and offer strategic/conceptual designs (without a lot of supervision).

The Visual Merchandising would work on layout design for the store, design and execution for store displays, planograms, etc. You will also be responsible for developing design concepts from rough sketch and scrap to final design that can be interpreted to visual merchandising promotions and interior visual layers execution.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop, evolve and execute design project concepts that support the marketing strategies of the company and/or department.
- Provide support to Creative Director and other cross functional team members

Requirements:
- 4-7 years in the graphic design field.
- Extremely passionate about the beauty industry and understands how design plays into the store experience
- Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and 3D rendering tools
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong freehand drawing skills.
- Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills.
