Editorial • Coordinating a merchandising calendar to schedule timely and engaging merchandising to support business, marketing and programming objectives. • Participate in regular calendar meetings for acknowledgment of upcoming content and promotional placements, providing feedback on titles availability and system capabilities and create calendars as required. • Working with publishers and creative services teams to procure copy and images for in-store and in-product promotions. • Collaborate on ideating special projects for important campaigns and providing insights and knowledge of content, community and customer feedback. • Writing compelling headlines and brief descriptions as needed. Production • Using publishing tools to add/remove titles in in-Product surfaces, in-Store surfaces including collections per specific direction from the team, including: o Seasonal promotions o Thematic collections o Adding new titles to appropriate collections • Working within deadlines and processes created to ensure on-time publishing. • Performing quality assurance checks in the calendar and store and pulling merchandising history reports. • Suggesting new titles and collection topics to the team for possible promotion • Assisting team in basic data reporting and processing using MS Excel (pivot tables, conditional formatting, v-lookup functions, etc.) • Work on organize team documents, separate process documents from one-off projects and actively-maintained documents. • QA in internal tool and live Store • Identifying areas for process or tool efficiency improvements and updating process documentation • Other duties as assigned Top must have skills: Experience working in online, commerce, merchandizing sphere.
