Visual Merchandiser

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages the projects, timelines and communication for designated departments to achieve overall objectives (sales performance plan for current fiscal year)
- Maintain databases and implement necessary maintenance for maximum effectiveness
- Assist buyers with merchandise style outs of current and new assortment
- Build fixtures and set up departments in preparation for schematics
- Manage floor set process, including execution of entrance and exit strategies
- Generate and publish schematics along with signs to all stores according to the production calendar
- Provide visual updates as new items arrive in store
- Assist partners within department guideline and seasonal shop set ups
- Proof signs by department

Desired Skills:
- 3-5 years of visual merchandising experience in a retail environment or equivalent
- Must be a natural leader who is able to motivate and develop teams using proven people skills
- Demonstrates business analytical thinking and problem solving.
- Must have strong ambition to drive sales
- Team oriented with excellent time management and organization skills
- Must be multi-task oriented and be able to act as liaison between all corporate departments
- Must possess and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and energy to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence outcomes
- Must have PC knowledge including, Excel, Word, Adobe Suite, and publishing experience
