Visual Interaction Designer

One of our valued Fortune 500 clients who is doing innovative work in the field of user experience is in need of a talent Visual Interaction Designer to join their growing team. This highly visual role will work within a User Experience (UX) team to design interactive experiences and all visual appearance.

Responsibilities include:
• Create innovative designs, visual assets, screen mockups, behavioral/ interaction design, and annotated wire frames.
• Document style guidelines and visual specifications
• Participate in the development life-cycle including: functional definition, user flows, interaction models and design, page layouts, color palettes, wireframes, prototypes, site maps and navigation schemas
• Provide input to design discussions; propose visual solutions and concepts
• Present work to stakeholders for feedback and approval

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Visual/Interaction Design
• 5+ years of industry experience with visual problem solving as a web, interactive, software or product designer
• Understanding of fundamental design principles (typography, layout, grid systems, hierarchy, color, composition).
• User-focused thinker who can proactively communicate in creative, business, and technical discussions
• Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work in a team environment that is fast-paced with multiple projects
• Must have a solid knowledge of user-centered design methodologies
• Expertise in web design, interactive prototypes, information architecture, user testing (or other agile development methodology)
