Visual Designer, Marketing

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented visual designer with experience in advertising! We are looking for a designer with a passion for design and technology to join our dynamic, fresh and exciting company. This is a contract to hire position based in downtown Seattle.

Purpose of Role (Why does this role exist, what is it designed to achieve?)

As a member of the Design Team you will be responsible for creating, shaping and driving innovative breakthrough concepts for the marketing team:
• Provide exceptional service and team work that supports the marketing team in producing a cost effective, professional, high quality design service.
• Creating original and fresh creative solutions.
• Producing high quality digital work, on brand, within specified timelines.
• Defining the visual aspects of a new brand and/or enhance existing assets.
• Using design to increase the clarity and ease of which information is communicated.
• Ensuring the quality control of every visual aspect of the design from conception to finished delivery.

Type of person most suited to this role
A person who has a background immersed in online design – with some traditional design experience and someone who is passionate about how design and technology.
A strong user understanding and proven expertise in design for our website, mobile, apps, Event Driven Marketing (eDM), banners, and social.
Ecommerce experience and ability to create functional designs focused on conversion is key.
Prefer work experience emphasizing retail sales/promotion design.

Key Areas of Responsibility (Over what areas does this role have responsibility?)
- Website and mobile site: Style guides, page designs
- CRM: e-DMs, newsletters, web, digital assets and responsive design
- Social: Skins, FB apps and advertising
- Performance assets: Banners, e-dms, landing pages, campaign pages
- Retail: SIM packs, POS and merchandise
- Lead concepts and development of the website, mobile site and apps
- Ensure flow in assets across all digital channels (website, Mobile, Apps, CRM, Display, Social, campaign pages etc..)
- Help ensure concepts and ideas flow between digital and traditional assets
