Visual Designer IV

The ideal candidate can transition quickly from user research to interaction design to visual design to creating prototypes and eventually to final presentations. The ideal candidate is a hybrid designer that thrives in a fast paced, start-up environment within a larger org.

Qualifications

An hybrid designer with an emphasis on visual design in the digital space. Web, mobile and presentation design is a must.
5-8 years of experience creating visually stunning user experiences with national or global brands in their portfolio. The correct candidate must discuss how they can work within a complex org and successfully own their work from start to finish.
Although this role has a large emphasis on visual design, the ideal candidate should also display an understanding of and be able to make intelligent design decisions regarding IA, UX, and content when necessary.
Experience working within agile.
Financial experience is a plus but not required.
Motion design and basic video editing is a big plus.

Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills. Capable of juggling
multiple projects and related complexities at the same time.
Self-starter, that is, able to collaborate actively with others on the UED team
Roll-up your sleeves attitude to get things done
Flexible

Must Have Skills
Whiteboard sketching, ideations, prototyping, Adobe Photoshop, Powerpoint or Keynote
Nice to Know

Omnigraffle, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, CSS, Invision, Proto.io, Flinto
Portfolios

Portfolios should represent the candidates best work and display their attention to detail, awareness of current visual design trends and highlight work that exemplifies their ability to solve s broad range of design challenges.
