Visual Designer

Our client is looking for a talented Senior Visual Designer to join their innovative and exciting team. This Designer will be working closely with all levels of the firm on the strategy and design development of printed, electronic and environmental design. He/she will be responsible for the concept, design, and layout of complex pieces ranging from internally printed materials to externally viewed multi-component campaigns. This person will regularly engage with non-designers through creative briefs to scope projects by determining the projects' audience, size, messaging, budget, etc. to determine the correct visual solutions for each unique project. This designer will be responsible for managing and juggling several projects simultaneously. Teaming both locally and virtually with other designers across the nation, he/she will be expected to produce designs using the firms' visual identity.

Strategic & Technical Orientation: 

Utilize strong design skills to create visually stimulating, clean, white space driven design.
Utilize and build on the company brand to create engaging design solutions that differentiates the company from the competition.
Create a consistent and differentiated customer experience by engaging with non-design staff through strategic design briefs, conceptualization and design-centric discussions.
Collaborate with Account Managers, the Art Director and fellow designers in the Creative team. 
Develop and pitch creative design ideas and solutions solving communication challenges.
Range of Impact: 

Creates a differentiated customer experience through hosting creative briefs with internal clients and delivering high-impact pieces.
Works closely with fellow designers to share concepts, ideas, and design elements.
Builds the brand of the Creative team throughout the firm through customer interaction and providing unique design solutions.
Scope of responsibility: 

Assists in attracting on-strategy design work to the Creative team through consistent success at creating strong designs within the firm's brand. 
Leads the design, development, population, production and delivery of priority collateral. 
Consults and brainstorms with staff throughout the U.S. firm to develop innovative ideas and concepts executable through design.


*Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years work experience
Deep understanding of digital delivery strategies and trends along with a passion for marketing and branding.
Experience in maintaining and implementing brand guidelines.
Experience in project management and planning.
Demonstrated offset print experience.
Strong knowledge of typography.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other creative tools.
Ability to meet timelines and work well under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communications a must.
Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or equivalent experience in Graphic Design/Communications Design.
