Visual Designer

Working within brand guidelines, the visual designer will be responsible for design concepts and developing creative for digital and print channels, retail display, video, and animation. This individual will work closely with marketing managers to meet the goals and objectives of the campaigns. The individual will also work closely with copywriters brainstorming innovative ideas and ways to bring the brand to life. The individual should be passionate about working fast and furious to meet the goals and objectives of the business and bring a can-do attitude to a team driven environment. 

Position Responsibilities: 
• Design logos, icons and infographics for print and digital (email, landing pages, display ads, etc.), web and mobile design (front end development to hand off to our developer) 
• Concepts, designs and storyboards for digital mass campaigns including animation 
and video editing 
• Develop customer and prospect communications 
• Social media support with images, infographics, and animation 
• Work within brand guidelines to create designs that reinforce brand style and voice 
• Translate marketing objectives into designs that are clear and compelling 
• Good eye for strong photography that tie back to the message and the business objectives 
• Collaborate with vendors for print, retail displays and collateral 
• Stay abreast of creative trends, best practices and benchmarks in design strategy 
• Ability to manage multiple projects, track and communicate progress throughout, and meet deadlines 
• Adhere to company’s printing standards 
• Ability to work with third party vendors and printers 

Required Skills and Experience: 
• 3+ years consumer marketing and digital media experience required 
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop 
• Video/animation editing skills with After Effects or Animate CC 
• Knowledge of Sketch and Invision preferred, but not required 
• Photography skills a plus 
• Proven experience as a team player 
• Positive “Can Do” Attitude 
• Superior verbal and written communications skills 
• Energy industry experience is preferred but not required 
• Flexible and adaptable to a rapidly changing, fast-paced business environment
