Visual Designer

In this assignment, you will work with Aquent's Client on the Media Design team for their Marketing Design. This is a role for the visual designer, communicator and problem solver who wants to have their hands in several things at once; who can deliver end-to-end design across media types, screens, formats and technologies; and who can collaborate well with others.


The Visual Designer is passionate about storytelling, with an eye for detail and a blend of creative and technical production skills. This position will work closely with the Creative Director, creative producers as well as cross functional producers to design, create and maintain client’s visual presence on social medias and across marketing efforts.


Key Qualifications
• Strong command of visual and communication design principles
• Demonstrated mastery of Adobe Creative
• Passionate about graphic design, typography, photography, motion and illustration
• Clear and concise communicator displaying strong organization, teamwork skills
• Authors, shares and merchandises ideas in a cogent and inspiring manner
• Delivers highly-resolved works at the intersection of culture and design
• Ability to prototype visual design work in situation
• A keen ability to create work under minimal supervision, as well as package and present solutions to the wider creative / management team—quickly and beautifully

• Is a fountain of ideas and creative thinking who can think and implement quickly, laterally, independently or collaboratively
• Experienced in developing and executing a marketing design, and has an advanced understanding of what makes content engaging and successful across platforms and audiences
• Demonstrates curiosity; keeps up with the evolving landscape of available tools, technologies and resources
• Is motivated and driven, and collaborates well with other creatives and creative producers and cross-functional to solve complex problems with simple solutions
• Has a keen understanding of local market creative and cultural nuances
• Able to work on a global teams, across time zones, date lines and traditional routine


Additional Requirements:
• Portfolio demonstrating proficiency in delivering strong creative ideas across digital, social or static and print media
• 5+ years relevant design experience; plus for time spent at top design or advertising agencies
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic, Information, Communication, Web design or equivalent
• Clear and concise communication and organization skills
• Fluency in clients products services
