Visual Designer

Aquent's client, an American multinational technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products, is seeking a Visual Designer for a 3–month assignment.

As a Visual Designer, you will work with creative leadership and key marketing partners to deliver products, stories, and services to the world. We work on websites, apps, and experiences. The Designer will contribute to the development of interactive experiences, brand stories, and design language that captures the character of our brand. You will collaborate daily with a diverse set of specialists from strategists, information architects, UX designers, marketers, producers, writers, and engineers to deliver these campaigns, sites and experiences.

Specific areas of focus:
- Interaction design and digital experiences
- Strategic branding, brand development and documentation
- Data Visualization
- Storytelling

- Prototyping, exhibition design and environmental graphics not required, but a big plus

Top 3 Responsibilities:
1. Contribute strategically to the development of brand experiences.
2. Ability to think and develop ideas over time and channels versus individual moments.
3. Create aesthetically excellent work that is true to the brand spirit

Additional Responsibilities:
- Drive projects from start to finish, collaborating with Marketing, Engineering, and other web designers and developers.
- Work with external agencies (experience, design and production, etc.)
- Execute against several work streams in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and deliver strategically sound, conceptually based, iconic experiences
- Additional areas of focus include: specifications, digital assets, and collateral for our key marketing objectives, and storytelling about key initiatives

Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Design or related field + 5 years of experience in Interaction design or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience at a world-class creative interactive agency or in-house marketing or product team
- An awe-inspiring portfolio of brand-defining experiences, websites, apps, and artifacts
- Solid understanding of how to create assets for multi-resolution platforms
- Ability to demonstrate a collaborative approach with marketing partners and developers
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong visual design skills, layout, typography and high graphic standards.
- Knowledge of design and technology trends and how to apply these to projects
- Expert proficiency with Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other web design tools
