Visual Communications Designer

Job Description:

As a visual communications designer, you will be asked to work with the Pharmacy Renewal team to concept and design visual graphics that best convey messages to internal audiences, external audiences and stakeholders.  Scope of work includes the production of power point presentations, infographics, white papers, logos, etc. The visual communications designer must have a strong art background, good business sense, technical proficiency and deep understanding of the target audience.


  • Solves creative problems by taking complex ideas and creating  simple, easy to understand communications/graphics
  • Has a passion for creating compelling written, spoken, and visual communication

-        Designs layouts for various print and digital projects from concept to finalized artwork

-        Attend meetings with stakeholders to find graphic solutions to complex problems

-        Ensures project accuracy while working under tight deadlines

-        Expertise in layout, production, delivery and managing design work to the highest possible standards for all assets across all mediums

-        Ensures all design layouts are optimized for end-use and delivered according to specifications, production standards, color quality standards, and preflight

-        Operates as a brand ambassador and reviews creative standards within the Pharmacy Renewal team

-        Design presentations for company-wide and investor events using company branding guidelines

-        Create original graphic content for slides for a wide variety of audiences


-        BFA in graphic design, visual communications design or related discipline

-        3-5 years of relevant experience

-        A strong portfolio showcasing visual communications, print, and digital experience

-        Excellent design, color and typographic skills

-        Comfortable working as part of a team as well as completing tasks as an individual

-        Experience taking projects from concept to final production (good production skills and creative abilities a must)

-        Energetic, enthusiastic and personable

-        Strong organizational skills

-        Expert knowledge of the Adobe CC Suite (emphasis on InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)

-        Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on PowerPoint and Word)
