The Video Editor role consists of shooting and editing videos our client’s internal TV. This individual must be someone with video editing and video production capabilities. This role will entail editing footage and ensuring its adoption as an important way for viewers to access timely information and training. Programming content will be developed by a variety of sources and made available via an easy-to-use website. This individual will interact regularly with web developers developing the website, with content contributors developing the content and with users of the content. Video programming will range from formal studio-quality presentations and TV-style programming to more informal two-minute content related stories. Normally requires and receives detailed instructions on all work.

Primary responsibilities:
• One of the core responsibilities will be to edit video presentations that concisely and dynamically tell our clients story. We are looking for a reliable individual, who's creativity does not need a lot of direction. This position will establish processes and procedures that ensure high quality, cost effective, and on-time creative. Candidates should balance the level of quality to meet the deadline and deliver a professional and well-communicated design.

Qualifications:
• • Skills to include Graphic Design, Animation, Video Editing using Adobe Premiere CS6, Photo Editing, Multi-media Presentation, Storyboarding, Sound Design, Music Production, Color Correction, Titling and Type Animation knowledge.

• Experience in video / TV program production and /or Web 2.0 production.
• Ability to learn about and provide training on the use of certain kinds of cameras and production equipment.
• Ability to manage assets
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines, functions, levels
• Ability to innovate and to take concepts from the idea stage to implementation
• Experience in the post production industry as a designer, animator, editor for video production, animation, vfx.
Experience working with teams of artists and editors to accomplish production goals.
Possess a high level of knowledge and industry background in visual effects, animation and motion graphics.
Knowledge of 3D rendering and special effects technologies a plus.
Solid Photoshop skills.
Experience with video compression techniques.
Excellent typography and graphics skills.
Able to key and composite elements from different sources (live action, animation, photographic, etc.).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi task is a must.
Troubleshoot problem areas within the path from graphics to edit Post-Production.
Must be extremely organized and reliable.

Education requirements:
• Film school degree
• Typically requires no previous professional experience and requires a good demo reel or website demonstrating a the basic understanding of shooting in HD, lighting, composition, editing, and encoding of previous work.

Technical requirements:
• Adobe Premiere CS6 or higher
• Adobe After Effects CS6 or higher
• Photoshop CS6 or higher
• Knowledge of prosumer and highend camera gear helpful.
