Functions as co-producer on numerous concurrent video projects. Meets with clients and project managers to evaluate communication requirements and design appropriate video and media-based solutions. Assists in the development of project planning schedules and securing necessary resources for assigned projects.
Will pack, transport, set up, shoot and tear down camera, lighting, audio and required set equipment for both live and recorded productions both within and outside of our production studio(s). Will be expected to produce video both as part of a larger production team or, as an individual (single/solo) producer.
Will transfer media and video footage from cameras and other storage media to non-linear editing systems and work with others to prepare material for release according to a pre-defined schedule.

May be called upon to work with team lead and project managers to assess and propose improvements to workflow and process improvements, conduct research and development into new production-related tools and techniques, attend training sessions.

Receives daily and weekly assignments, submits work product for review

Interacts with the project manager throughout the duration of the project to ensure all deliverables are on time, to specification and to client satisfaction
Will interact with associates before and during productions, to reassure, guide and as needed, coach for optimal on-camera performance
Offsite meeting planners
May interact with facility personnel (e.g. a hotel meeting room manager) to confirm event –related details when we are producing video off TRP property.
May interact with external broadcast facilities (.g. MSNBC) during live television and radio productions
Challenge: Predecessor and up-stream assets and deliverables (e.g. scripts, graphics) are submitted incomplete, late, or with errors.
Decision Making: Will notify Project Manager and/or Videography Lead and collaborate for identifying resolution
Challenge: May be called upon to produce videos in sub optimal environments (insufficient lighting, intrusive background noise)
Decision Making: Will identify and highlight the constraints and make recommendations to the project manager and/or client
Challenge: Unanticipated client-initiated scope creep and changes to work product, impacting other previously scheduled work.
Decision Making: Will evaluate and propose work re-prioritization and discuss with Videography Lead and Project managers
Requires at least two years of experience producing a variety of video and video-related products in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Intermediate-level knowledge of and hands on experience with a variety of both in-studio and field cameras, lighting and audio systems
Intermediate-level knowledge of and hands on experience with a variety of media and video editing software systems such as Apple’s Final Cut and the Adobe Creative Suite
Must be able to manage numerous concurrent projects
Must be customer-focused with high levels of verbal and written communication proficiency
Must be open to receiving coaching and direction
Successful completion of post-secondary coursework in video production and/or post production, film-making
Work experience in live studio broadcast environments
Entry-level to intermediate experience with graphics and animation production software
