Video/Multimedia Producer

The Video/Multimedia Producer will lead and drive multimedia production projects from beginning to completion. This person will establish best practices to produce effective, on brand, and high quality videos and improve efficiency in the video production process. This person will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day production activities and will facilitate the requests and requirements of internal marketing teams on video projects.

Skills
Breaks down each project to identify the following requirements: talent, locations/studio, art direction, wardrobe & makeup, special equipment, editing, graphics, visual effects, music & audio recording, and/or any other special needs.
Develops production schedule and initial budget based on breakdowns, ensuring that the creative concept of each project works within the proposed budget. Manages and supervises production activities throughout all phases of pre and post production with an eye on efficiency, consistency and budget.
Develops a stable of independent freelance production talent, including videographers, picture and sound editors, animators, and voice talents.
Provides guidance to studio talent to support their successful contribution to video productions
Acts as a liaison between Global Marketing and other departments to create consistent branding among all videos throughout the company
Works with appropriate writing and other staff to ensure a strong storyline and subsequent storyboard that achieve the project objective and is compelling and persuasive. Establishes, drives and upholds high video production standards, best practices, guidelines, strategy. Reviews and ensures all videos are of the highest quality and to brand
Works effectively with internal and external project collaborators to ensure that goals and objectives are met within budgetary guidelines
Communicates frequently and effectively with various project collaborators to ensure that goals and objectives are met
Continually review and improve multimedia production processes to ensure procedures are streamlined, easy to follow, and cost-effective
Uploads and manages final videos on YouTube and other video hosting sites


Preferred Experiential Background:

-Requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in video, television, multimedia production with a successful track record of creating top-quality video content with limited resources.
-Experience producing video, graphics and animation
-Proficient in the use of audio and video recording equipment including, but not limited to professional digital camcorders, lighting, audio and tripods
-Expert knowledge of video editing, audio editing, color correction and authoring software such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Adobe Media Encoder and Adobe Encore
-Awareness of industry best practices for creating and delivering video content on the web; interest in keeping up with latest technologies and trends for content delivery.
-Extensive knowledge of graphics software programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
-Strong eye for detail and design
-Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects proactively and meet deadlines.
-Proven ability to work independently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong project management skills required
-Strong skills with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Consistently demonstrates a high level of customer satisfaction for internal and external stakeholders

Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
