Our Denver-based client is seeking a skilled Video Production Specialst. This is an onsite role perfect for someone looking to start a new career -- this is full-time, contract-to-hire! The video production specialist will work within the marketing department assisting with storyboards, filming, editing, and production for a wide variety of video projects. The ideal candidate should be able to manage all aspects of the video production process and quickly turnaround video assets suitable to different university platforms and audiences. This role will work closely with all functional areas of the marketing team as well as other university stakeholders to quickly delivery quality and engaging video that work that maintains adherence to brand standards, positively reinforces the university Mission, Vision, and Values, and creatively supports university messaging and initiatives. 

The Digital Video Production Specialist performs a wide range of duties including: 
• Contribute to the development of new initiatives by working with stakeholders to identify objectives, audience, and ideal video format on a project by project basis. 
• Work with the communications team to develop questions, outlines, scripts, and create storyboards for approval before executing production. 
• Own or assist in the production of a variety of video and multimedia assets (filmed, informational, animation, webinars/presentations, testimonials, motion graphics, etc.) for a variety of platforms and uses (digital, web, social, events, etc.). 
• Manage all aspects of video and audio production including filming, recording and editing voiceovers, and creating supers and graphics/titles for inclusion. 
• Provide input for streamlining the production process from planning through approval and trafficking. 
• Developing and maintaining digital asset management system for all video footage including but not limited to importing, trafficking, naming, tagging, auditing, and archiving. 

Skills
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: specifically Premiere Pro, and After Effects, along with Final Cut Pro X. 
• Expert knowledge of camera operation, lighting principles, use of green screen, teleprompter, audio recording and production capability. 
• Strong eye for composition, strong use of typography, experience creating engaging motion graphics and supers. 
• Superior writing and critical thinking ability to develop messaging consistent with stated objectives, platform, and tone.

Experience & Education Requirements: 
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a design, marketing, or related field. 
• 3 to 5 years of video production experience.
