We are looking for a highly skilled Video Producer/Editor to join the Creative Services team of a Fortune 50 client in St Louis.

A video producer/editor plans, designs and directs media projects for standard video productions, live events and shoots. Advises stakeholders on pre-production, production and post-production media options and activities. Participates in the development of standards and guidelines. Supports and recommends improvements to processes.

You will be responsible for:
Directing
Knowledge of motivational techniques (e.g., coaching to improve acting performance, adding emphasis, encouragement during difficult scenes) for professional, non-professional acting/narration. General ability to direct production crew (e.g., studio, field, live event, multi-camera) to meet desired program goals, on time and within budget.
Image Creativity
The ability to create moderately complex aesthetic images that exhibit originality, imagination and expressiveness and that meet customer/project requirements. The ability to conceptualize and produce images from one’s own thought process.
Media Editing
Ability to operate linear and non-linear editing equipment. Apply knowledge of media editing techniques (e.g., digitizing, arranging, trimming, layering, mixing, transitions, graphics, program flow/shot sequence, image archiving and calibration standards). Knowledge of both Avid and Adobe Premier editing systems preferred.
Media Production Techniques
Knowledge of media production practices (e.g. studio/location production, program flow/shot sequence, effects) and techniques (documentary and live multi-camera events).
Video Production for Video
Apply general knowledge of video production process (e.g., multiple camera angles). Ability to plan, organize and produce multi-dimensional media (e.g., multiple language tracks, director’s comments, etc.).
Video Script Writing
Knowledge of script writing techniques (e.g., narratives, dialogues, scene descriptions and directions).
Videography/Cinematography
Ability to operate standard professional video cameras, high definition cameras and/or film cameras.
Webcasting Production
Apply knowledge of webcasting process and standards (e.g., server connectivity, multi-casting, streaming hardware/software). Ability to operate studio/field production and webcasting equipment.

This is a 12 month assignment with the potential for an extension.

Education: Bachelor’s and typically 6 or more years work related experience
