We are looking for a Video Producer Coordinator to join one of the UK’s largest news portals. The client’s website receives more than 20 million hits a month, so it is a great opportunity to get involved in something incredible and exciting.

This role is a new position that sits within the cleint’s video team responsible for the content for their website’s Homepage, PC, Xbox, and Mobile etc. The successful candidate will be the go between for the team to support and ensure that all processes are running smoothly; people are where they need to be, the right kit is prepared and sorted, footage is to the correct format.

You will work proactively with the channel editors, video producers, content manager and managing editor to ensure the video production pipeline is smooth, the locations and freelancers are booked, footage is sourced, music usage reported and other logistics covered. This role will also include elements of content uploading, guest research and briefing plus video format brainstorming.

You will need to be extremely organised and have great attention to detail as you will be helping the team across numerous logistical and hands on issues. You will ideally have some media experience perhaps previously as a runner or in some sort of production background for example production or coordination experience.

A small level of technical understanding would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite.

You will have a good understanding of the internet and online video, and the requirements of putting together video packages

Demonstrated experience in the following is a must:
• Content development, scheduling and budgeting is required.
• Team player with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and web content publishing tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or a combination of work experience and education in a related field is required.
• Enthusiastic and unflappable as well as being creative and willing to get stuck in.
