Video Producer

This role will be working with a team of learning designers at a top tech company to help solve learning problems. Their mission is to enable employees to continuously learn and adapt. They understand every aspect of the learning design process, from analyzing the problem to solve, to designing and developing a solution, to evaluating success.

The Video team produces videos to support the learning experiences amongst employees. They work on a variety of video projects from short documentaries and interviews to self-paced video-based trainings and train-the-trainer videos, covering subjects ranging from unconscious bias and diversity to management, leadership and marketing.

We are seeking a producer to support the Video Team’s day-to-day operations in Sunnyvale. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of the video production process and be a master at working with clients and managing expectations. They must be proficient in developing video treatments, managing production schedules and working with external video production companies.

Responsibilities:
1) Scope incoming video requests
2) Liaise between clients and the production team
3) Develop treatments and production schedules
4) Organize logistics of shoots
5) Work with and manage talent during shoots
6) Manage post-production logistics
7) Ensure video projects are completed to agreed deadlines and to the required standard

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (preferably in film, recent film school grads encouraged to apply)
- Experience working on a variety of creative video projects (different styles and genres)
- Treatment development and scriptwriting/storyboarding skills
- Thorough understanding of unit production logistics and experience managing film crews/equipment
- Thorough understanding of post-production and managing the timelines for each step
- Proactive problem-solving and a positive can-do attitude
- Superb communication skills and ability to engage with people and uncover their stories
- Solid knowledge of the legal aspects of video production, including copyright, release forms requirements, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and consulting skills
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
