One of Aquent’s valued Energy clients in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a dynamic candidate for a Video Producer contract role. The ideal candidate is someone who has a background in video production, exceptional project management and organizational skills. Additionally, they are looking for a candidate that can think on their feet and is looking for an opportunity to grow their career within a Fortune 25 company

RESPONSIBILITIES
· The video producer will oversee the production of videos for external audiences on the company’s website as well as through other digital media channels. Videos must advance the organization’s key corporate messages while being informative, innovative and visually arresting.
· Develop new video ideas, working with subject matter experts to develop creative briefs and story lines. The producer will be responsible for identifying and scheduling internal resources and personnel for video shoots. He/she will oversee outside production crews and supervise post-production of videos and occasionally work on the location of video shoots.
· Develop relationships and collaborate with other communicators in many parts of the organization’s global business, sometimes helping them with their own video productions, sharing resources and identifying stories.
· Help manage the storage and distribution of media assets.
· Must have excellent project management skills as well as the ability to balance the needs of different stakeholders while maintaining the integrity and value of the final product.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Excellent project management and negotiation skills
· Experience with video pre-production, including developing creative briefs and overseeing scripts
· Experience overseeing video shoots and post-production
· Ability to accurately estimate time and resources required for video productions
· Creative and innovative with an ability to present technical information in visually interesting ways
· Ability to interface with a large, decentralized company to identify promising stories
· Ability to effectively manage outside contractors and other occasional resources
· Ability to evangelize video best practices among other organization communicators
· Some travel and on-location work required (less than 20 percent)

QUALIFICATIONS
· Recent experience producing short-form video for digital channels; DO NOT apply if you don’t have a reel of your best work
· Solid project management experience
· Previous experience in a large corporate environment preferred
