Video Games 3D Generalist

Our client is looking for a strong 3D generalist artist who is equally well versed in artistic sensibilities as well as having a deep technical understanding allowing you work closely with engineering, character artists and animators to rapidly prototype great gameplay on evolving technology. The ideal candidate will be expected to understand how the content creation process works from end to end and use this knowledge along with the technical realities to help deliver a creative vision, and provide feedback to our technology teams about the artist experience.

•Be the first customer by building great game prototypes. Identify technology and workflow improvements, and champion them to our technology teams. Break our stuff!
•Be a champion of artist workflows: raise the bar on quality, consistency, iteration speed, UX and all the other things that make artists smile with delight.
•Develop project plans, prototypes, and commitments for yourself and deliver consistently against those commitments.
•Rapidly prototype novel demonstrations of Lumberyard technologies

Basic Qualifications
**Experience with Lumberyard preferred**
• C++
• Lua
• Experience with other game engine – Unreal, Unity, Lumberyard, etc
• Experience with multiple shipped titles on PC, console, or mobile.
• 2+ years of 3D game development
• Experience as a generalist – the more flexible the better
• Experience shading, texturing, modeling, rigging
• Maya
• Knowledge of UI and UX design for artists tool development
