Variable Marketing Product OwnerBusiness Analyst for MPS2, 6 months contract

Responsibilities:

The Variable Marketing Application Development team, consists of 37 people located in Dunton & Chennai and is responsible for MPS2 and ARMADA development activities.
The successful candidate will perform the role of a Product Owner within one of the existing 3 Agile Teams. Works with the Campaigns Management Team (CMT) to understand business priorities and requirements, and act as the voice of the customer to the development team, ensuring the team delivers value to the business.
Works with Product Management, Chief Product Owner and other stakeholders (including other product owners and other teams) to build and maintain the team backlog through the development and maintenance of prioritised product features and user stories.
Works closely with the Agile Team Facilitator (ATF) and Development team to prioritise iteration content in line with the high-level portfolio roadmap and timings.
Leads / Supports the appropriate Agile ceremonies (e.g. Daily Stand-Up, Iteration Planning, Retrospectives, Product Management, Agile Release Train Planning).
Responsible for providing details to the team to help define and test the solution for backlog items. Provides acceptance to user stories.
Fulfils the responsibilities of a Business Analyst, including gathering, defining, analysing, and consolidating and documenting business requirements.
This role reports to the variable Marketing Systems Development Supervisor and provides an excellent opportunity to become directly involved with business-critical and high visibility projects for major automotive brand of Europe.

Skills Required:
Business Analysis. Ability to effectively communicate on technical and non-technical subjects with all levels of personnel.
Understanding of Agile concepts and experience of Agile driven projects.
Ability to learn quickly and understand a wide variety of business and technical subjects. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, particularly relating to negotiation, facilitation and conflict management.
Ability to build strong working relationships with business customers and stakeholders. Strong workload management and task prioritisation.
Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Confident in dealing with, and presenting to, people at all levels within the organisation

Skills Preferred:
Familiarity with Rally backlog management tool
Understanding of Variable Marketing

Experience Required:
5 Years Business Analysis experience

Experience Preferred:
Previous automotive experience
Previous experience of MPS2
Degree
