VP Creative

We are looking for a confident marketing professional capable of managing many priorities on a regular basis. Reporting to the EVP, this position will lead a seasoned creative team in the development of creative materials, marketing strategies and media plans for all corporate product initiatives to impact sales, and overall engagement with the audience; to support all the company’s product and service groups, and help formulate brand strategies.

The idea candidate is highly skilled with proven management skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team of marketing and creative professionals. Additionally, the VP must gain immediate trust with peers across channels and possess an unwavering desire to achieve results and improve creative products.

As VP of Creative you will spearhead the strategic development and execution of all marketing and creative B2B and B2C initiatives and continue to solidify a global, innovative brand in product marketing.

Responsibilities:
Oversee budgets and manage relationships with third parties and creative agencies.
Spearhead and execute creative strategies and plans.
Supervise the delivery of all creative assets and marketing materials necessary to support the company’s global initiatives
Supervise market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness.
Build consumer advertising and promotional campaigns for in-house brands.
Drive the strategic planning of an annual or long- term marketing plan to drive forward agreed company objectives
Lead seasoned creative team comprised of directors, managers, graphic designers, web and UX designers, copywriters and digital/ campaign specialists.
Be responsible for departmental budgeting and planning.
Oversee all tradeshow and event marketing, production and execution.
Oversee all market research functions.
Oversee all promotions and campaigns for in-house brands; from conception to creative development to execution and measurement.
Be and inspire the entire team to become brand stewards; for in-house brands, and the creation of brands on behalf of our third-party partners.


Qualifications:
Proven creative, marketing and promotions leadership experience, ideally in a consumer driven retail industry.
Proven track record and experience leading marketing and creative initiatives and teams.
Fortune 1000/Consumer Goods experience a plus
Solid understanding of the online world, from design/development to campaigns and promotions.
Flexibility to work in a highly creative and multi-faceted company.

Excellent communication skills.
Ability to effectively interface at executive levels.
A collaborative, open work style
Excellent academic background with a strong marketing/business degree (or equivalent). Post-graduate in Marketing preferred.
Applicable progressive experience in consumer marketing and/or creative services may be considered in lieu of education.

Consumer marketing experience especially with respect to target audience.
Proven experience managing, inspiring and mentoring a team.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills.

Expert time-management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.

Solution-oriented approach and creative thinking are required.

Strong business ethics.

Proven ability to stay updated on new trends with the ability to efficiently implement.
