We are looking for a versatile and experienced 3D/VFX artist who loves inventing, troubleshooting, and documenting content tools and workflows for 3D artists, and is up-to-date with the tools and techniques used in 3D creation, real-time content, and real-time engines. You are a consummate problem solver and boundary crosser who loves working with peers from production, art, design, and technical development, and have a strong understanding of pipeline and workflow tools and methods.

These are the things you should be great at:

  • Animating 2D and 3D assets that follow story beats
  • Camera Tracking and Match Moving
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of compositing, and the ability to come up with quick post production fixes
  • Proficient at optimizing and decimating 3D models from high to low-poly
  • Implement animations into Unity
  • Making a significant and direct contribution to the creation of 3D art assets
  • Understanding of next-gen game asset development processes, limitations, and dependencies
  • Desire to collaborate with other disciplines to deliver on the vision
  • Working on short cycles and delivering your best work within tight timelines
  • Open-minded when you approach content creation and love to challenge convention
  • Researching and creating new content as required
  • Taking ownership of a vision and seeing it through to completion
  • Seeking out and implementing feedback to constantly improve and refine the content you create
  • Self-motivated and active in seeking out ways to help
  • Motivated by collaboration and able to communicate with extroverts and introverts alike
  • Thrive working against the clock
  • Have extensive knowledge of art packages ranging from modelling to texturing to VFX.
  • Knowledge of particle systems, environmental effects, cloth sims, lighting and dynamics
  • Highly proficient in problem solving with good time management skills
  • Compile assets from artists and be able to view/implement them into Unity


  • Relevant experience in creative development using 2D and 3D programs, with multiple shipped products
  • Demonstrable experience in VFX production work
  • Efficient in camera tracking software, PFTrack, After Effects and or Mocha
  • Excellent eye for light, shade, color, and details
  • Focused attention on the end user experience
  • Demonstrable experience in 3D asset creation for real-time rendering
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Strong team attitude
  • Professional portfolio demonstrating strong core 3D output
  • Authority in modern 3D modeling tools such as Autodesk Maya, SoftImage, and Z-Brush, Cinema4D
  • Proficiency in world building tools would be beneficial
  • Graphic arts experience
  • Experience with implementing UI

For portfolio submissions:

  • Demo reel with examples of your work – only show major contributions on multiple artist projects
  • Examples of high-resolution modelling, both organic and hard surface
  • Examples of full set design and scene management
  • Please include comparison screenshots and/or turntable of model in wire frame, AO and final rendered image. Please include software used and poly count where applicable
  • Unity/Unreal experience
