Aquent is in search of a seasoned User Interface Design Team Lead for a Fortune 500 client in Austin! Looking for people that can be a driving force in our client’s product innovation, UI/ UX design, usability and visual design efforts for enterprise software, web and mobile solutions. Responsibilities:
Develop all deliverables from creative brief through execution, collaborating with internal departments to plan, schedule, review and deliver creative projects
· Deliverables include software application user interactions and design. (Will also support Digital Marketing Team initiatives to include deliverables such as video and web campaigns, website content, and advertising)
· Traffic/management of all projects to ensure deadlines are met, projects are assigned, external resources are engaged
· Ensure that all assets are adhering to all brand standards and best practices
· Make recommendations that innovate, engage customers and constantly push brand forward
· Oversee the development and timely flow of project deliverables, ensuring they are aligned with project goals, and drive creative work to completion on time and on budget
· Establish creative processes, priorities, schedules and updates
· Contribute to solutions and strategy for on line projects

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

SKILL-BASED COMPETENCIES:

· Strong knowledge of interaction design, user interface design, and information architecture.
· The ability to promote design principles and methods while also understanding business needs and goals
· Excellent team player with a flexible, collaborative approach
· Experience in a fast paced, detailed oriented, deadline driven environment
· Strong written and oral communication skills - able to explain web design proposals and decisions to stakeholders and project requestors.
· Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Ability to manage multiple projects and resources
· Strong knowledge of web browsers and cross platform constraints .
· Strong understanding of web standards compliance
· In-depth experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
· Working knowledge of web accessibility guidelines and issues related to enhancing 508 compliance
· Experience with Photoshop, Homesite, Dreamweaver, and standard web editing programs.
