User Experience designer / Service designer

Our client is an established and award winning digital experience agency are ambitious to grow and are looking for an exceptional UX Designer to come on board and join their successful team.

Our client are looking for a designer who can personally lead and manage projects, taking on a client facing role, engaging them to the highest level. A new member should also be willing to learn from their highly regarded team and close network.

Responsibilities will include:

Research, conceptualise and influence feasible and smart user experiences across all platforms, including web sites, tablet, mobile phone sites & apps.

Generate value through design by looking into insights to create digital experiences that connect people to services across all digital touchpoints

Research & strategy skills

Ability to scope out and conduct stakeholder & user interviews, envision customer journeys in order to understand requirements and insights that shape experience strategies and design decisions

Ability to create user experience goals and conceptual frameworks; user personas, related key user journeys and relevant flowcharts;

Balance the client’s business objectives whilst meeting the user experience objectives of the project

Inspire innovative approaches to design, using creative facilitation techniques with clients and internal workshops

Responsible for keeping up to date with latest industry developments, technical innovation and digital practise

Design & Technical Skills

Proficient in the relevant tools, such as Adobe Creative suite, Wireframe creation tools, prototyping tools, Keynote and Microsoft Office

Translate insights into innovative experience solutions, exhibited in user scenarios and prototypes from lo-fi to hi-fi Information Architecture and wireframes, annotations/specification documentation

Communicate and envision service experience concepts and ideas using methods & tools that illustrate all the components and touchpoints of the digital service

A strong portfolio that demonstrates thorough research and design thinking and core skills across a variety of client categories and digital experience design formats for example; websites, software applications, mobile/tablet UI and apps.

Focus on impact and measurable results – nothing gets designed for the sake of it

Collaborate closely with UI designers, technologists, external associates and partners to solve complex challenges

Salary: £50K
