User Experience Researcher needed asap!

Responsible for the planning, scheduling, conducting, analyzing, and socializing user research and user validation activities for the next generation of network management software applications. Works closely with Visual & Interaction Designers, Product Managers & Engineers on behalf of end users to define the user experience to ensure the delivery of customer-accepted and validated software.

Responsibilities:
-Plan, design, observe and analyze field studies & usability testing
-Generation user personas & use scenarios
-Identify user interface requirements; help define project approach & user experience strategy
-Set conceptual design & suggest product direction based on field research and functional requirements.

Required Skills
-Support a variety of usability research efforts such as usability testing (lab and remote), competitive assessments, expert reviews, surveys, card sorting, eye tracking.
-Activities will cover the full range of study tasks, including creation of planning materials (test plan, scripts, user artifacts), moderating test sessions and taking notes, data analysis, video editing, report writing
-Requirements:
-Excellent understanding of what makes good research and a strong knowledge of UCD
-College degree in related field (e.g. HCI, Usability, Research Methods) or equivalent experience
-3-5 years of experience with a range of research methodologies.
