Job Description:

We are looking for a driven, highly motivated, extremely organized leader to lead a cross-functional team of visual interface designers, UX designers, usability analysts, and UI Developers to develop world-class experiences for our team members and customers.

The UX Manager will managing all user experience efforts for the department and must be able to successfully juggle multiple projects/programs. This candidate must have a strong background in Agile and must have experience working in large, matrixed organizations. This candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with little direction. They should be proactive, candid and focused.


Responsibilities:
• Ensure successful delivery of assigned work
• Build and develop a strong UX team
• Advocate for and develop strong UX processes, identifying and modifying outdated processes
• Advise project teams on resource requirements for UX components of all projects
• Maintain, develop and implement common, repeatable UX patterns and constantly update existing deliverables and processes as necessary
• Manage risks and issues, escalate as necessary
• Create partnerships with project and business leadership within the group and within the enterprise
• Ensure communication and alignment between projects and workstreams
• Maintain and communicate prioritization, resource demand and capacity between all projects
• Ensure all UX deliverables comply with established brand standards
• Manage current budgets, timelines and project statuses and maintain projections
• Single point of escalation for UX team
• Remove obstacles and roadblocks
• Create and foster a culture of change and world class delivery

Qualifications:
• Broad knowledge of all user experience and usability trends for web, mobile, and desktop
• Ability to demonstrate successful delivery of user-centered design projects
• Broad knowledge of accessibility standards
• Experience working within large, matrixed organizations with enterprise software
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate business case for solutions
• Minimum 5 years experience leading and fostering cross-functional UX teams
• Degree in visual design, HCI, or related field required
• Experience with lean UX methodologies and/or Agile a plus
• Agency experience a plus
