User Experience Learning Content Manager

Our pharmacutical client in the northern suburbs is looking for a User Experience Learning Content Manager to partner with all levels of Global Learning – Product Training Managers (PTM) and different functions of Commercial Operations to deliver personalized learning solutions that will contribute to the achievement of business objectives.

Major Responsibilities:
• Project Management:
o Provide planning and management of multiple training initiatives
• Content Management:
o Exhibit an aptitude for the use of software design tools and learning management system (LMS), Learning Content Management Systems, Mobile applications, or Portals.
o Optimize and manage assets in multiple learning content management systems (lcms).
o Provide analytics and reports on usage and relevance of content.
o Oversight of multiple content management systems to ensure content is controlled, relevant and current.
o Assist in the taxonomy development design of organization, labeling, navigation, and indexing systems to support both browsing and searching
o Analyze metadata available in content collections to determine vocabulary compatibility or convertibility, enhancements, and integration of metadata needed to support good information accessibility.
o Help to refine metadata and/or workflow process for various applications.
o Assist in the implementation of appropriate content attributes in the content management, portal or website production environment.
• Analytics:
o Strong analytical and numerical skills, a strong knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, charting and databases
o Attention to detail, independent thinker, and ability to recognize patterns and anomalies in data
o Good inter-personal skills, as well as collaborative and needs analysis skills
o Ability to forge insights from large data sets.
o Strong project management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize projects with conflicting deadlines.
o Working on a team with a shared goal but comfortable working independently with little supervision.
o Ability to communicate complex findings and ideas in logical, easy to understand and actionable language.
• Communication:
o Communicate clearly and accurately to various levels of management individually and in-group settings.
o Creates marketing and communications for key learning initiatives
• Building Relations:
o Work closely with Global Learning Therapeutic Area & Capabilities Learning Partners to share best practices, identify process improvements and increase the value

Accountability/Scope:
• Must be able to multitask and manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be able to work with all levels of the organization in a professional manner.
• Must be flexible in a dynamic environment to change practices or procedures in order to deliver optimum solutions for learners.
• Must have strong leadership skills.
• Highest level of accountability must be present in order to own solutions and ensure they meet the needs of the organization.
