User Experience Designer ll

This position will be somewhat of a hybrid. You will be doing production help and some visual design. It will lean towards the UX side - 70/30 UX/design.

This would be a good fit if your career has progressed from more visual design into UX design.

Deliverables will be standard UX and visual deliverables - flows, UI, buttons - in store signage, production level design for banners.

Softwares skills needed are Sketch, Axure, and Photoshop.

You have an inventor’s spirit, highly refined aesthetic sensibilities and a fine-tuned ability to contextually communicate the right thing in the right place at the right time to customers. You are energized by solving big interesting problems for customers, eager to dig into data that inform your design decisions. As a member of the Campus design team, you will own and design innovative, stunning, memorable, and effective experiences across all devices and enable associates and customers to solve a variety of customer problems.

You’ll collaborate with other UX Designers and the community, as well as Marketing, Product Managers, and Engineers to invent and iterate on experiences that start and end with the customer. You'll exhibit creative leadership to gather customer and business requirements, introduce new ideas, challenge and be challenged, and craft a long-term vision.

The ideal candidate will be passionately customer-centric and have a deep portfolio that demonstrates versatility and excellence in bringing experiences to life across all customer touch points.


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Graphic Design, HCI or equivalent, or...
5+ years’ professional experience in UX Design or related field, driving compelling digital and/or physical UX strategy and execution.
A portfolio that shows your thought process
Demonstrated working knowledge of user task and goals identification, process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
Experience using Sketch, Axure, Photoshop, or similar tools.
Understands the best practices for information architecture.
Strong knowledge of HCD principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

Specialized training in the UX field along with visual design experience.
Experience designing for large-scale experiences for retail, e-commerce, enterprise applications, or tech.
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
History of designing across all devices, platforms, and contexts in particular with a mobile first aspect.
Demonstrated business acumen, including experience measuring and calibrating the impact of your work against key business and customer experience goals.
Ability to scope design initiatives accurately and prioritize competing work items appropriately.
Experience learning from, teaching and mentoring others.
