User Experience Designer /UX Designer

Our client is looking for a User Experience Designer with strong visual capabilities as part of Global Interactive Marketing team. Develop high-quality, user-centered digital experiences, across all digital media forms; including social, mobile, website, and syndicated channels. This role will collaborate with a variety of cross-discipline team members to define, produce and review digital creative and user experience assets for multiple internal and external partners. Must have the ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and keep abreast of innovative design trends and technologies.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Envision, concept, layout, prototype, and produce high-impact interactive interfaces for all digital media forms; including social, mobile, site, and syndicated channels.
2. Construct Interactive User Experiences leveraging wireframes and solid site structures
3. Apply visual skins to enhance the overall user experience
4. Refine wireframes to finished mockups/comps
5. Leverage a user-centric design methodology and design quality assessment process throughout the execution of digital media projects to achieve the highest levels of accessibility, usability, and intuitive affordance.
6. Generate information architecture, wireframes and user flow models to optimize user tasks and design for multi-channel deployment, including mobile devices.
7. Possess a passion for great design and a natural ability to push creative boundaries.
8. Exhibit strong presentation skills including the ability to successfully sell creative work.
9. Manage and prioritize assigned design-related tasks to ensure the successful delivery of projects that exceed expectations while meeting hours and revenue targets.


EDUCATION REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s Degree, with significant portfolio work in the area of digital interactive design

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
• 5+ years of experience designing complex, enterprise level websites

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
• Solid understanding of working within Brand Standards and Requirements
• Understand constraints of designing within a Content Management System
• Solid understanding of Interactive Web Technologies including HTML, CSS, javascript, Flash and industry experience designing solutions leveraging these technologies.
• Expert experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
• Deep knowledge of User Centered Design processes and methodologies
• Experience with User Experience best practices and deliverables including Information Architecture, wireframes and general web strategy.
• Experience with Internet design best practices (browser compatibility, accessibility, color and quick loading of images, etc.)
• Experience in user-centric design with a strong understanding of web accessibility, usability, maintainability and organic search engine optimization
• Experience with digital assets and various web content management systems and concepts
• Expert experience with new design technologies and best practices within mobile and responsive design
• Experience gathering and documenting business, functional and end-user requirements.
• Experience collaborating with mutli-disciplinary teams to successfully deliver end design deliverables


DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new content domains, visualize and simplify complex systems, and solve problems both analytically and creatively
• Exceptional client presentation skills. Idea generation and brainstorming skills.
