User Experience Architect (Contract-to-Hire)

Job Description:
The UX architect is responsible for managing the user experience deliverables, ensuring the adherence to our e-commerce platform standards. The right candidate is a collaborator with proven experience working with, inspiring, guiding and managing user experience talent. They will partner with Creative Managers, Business Analysts, Project Managers and Product Managers to review business requirements and define user experiences needs. Serves as a user experience liaison that aligns the operation of the information architecture, creative and development groups, authoring efficient workflow processes, architecting and presenting best in class user experience and usability standards. They will oversee the definition and creation of document user flows, prioritize features and information within the interface, correlate features to user tasks/needs, and outline the functional specifications of the interface. They will also craft solutions that balance user goals and business goals while fitting into the constraints of brand, time, budget and technology. Responsibilities:
 Represent the "User Experience" by translating requirements into defined specifications and inspire the Engineering team to develop the right product. Own the design of the most impactful user interface - related features and participate in the product definition process with the Product Manager, Engineering Manager and User Research. Influence product strategy and direction by working with Product Managers to translate business and marketing goals into the best software solutions for our business. Develop and maintain design mockups, usage scenarios, prototypes, specifications, navigation maps and other design documents. Work with feature development teams to ensure that the workflow reflects the user's needs and ensure consistency among features. Develop expert-level knowledge of competitive and complementary products and bring new ideas to the team. Define innovative user interfaces and interaction styles which result in improved user productivity. This role reports into the Director of Creative Services.
