User Experience Analyst-UI/Wireframing and Research

Our client, located in downtown Chicago, is look to hire two User Experience Analysts on a temp-to-perm basis. They have both a Senior-level and a Mid-level position open. Excellent corporate client with great culture and benefits.

In general, these roles will require about 70% wireframing and other UI work and about 30% testing and research.

DEPENDING ON PROJECT, RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Heuristic review of a user interface, with findings and recommendations presented to a project team
- Work with a project team to conceptualize a new user interface for an existing internal application -- this could involve contextual inquiry, task analysis, wireframing, and usability testing at a minimum
- Support the design and development of new features targeted to consumers, leveraging existing research, developing wireframes and leading a usability test effort
- Provide UX support for multiple customer-facing initiatives delivered via a secure member portal, from overall architecture to individual component functionality

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1) Bachelor Degree.
2) 5 years experience of diverse business and technology experience understanding of the business and industry the technology is supporting OR usability concepts and various qualitative and quantitative user research methodologies OR electronic marketing technology, customer relationship management (CRM), and integrated marketing strategies OR in a web production environment.
3) Knowledge of web technology.
4) Understand the limitations of the platform when designing new features and enhancements.
5) Understand of current and emerging e-commerce related technologies (i.e., Web 2.0).
6) Experience with industry standard design programs to include but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Image Ready, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash.
7) Experience with industry standard web programming (i.e., HTML/xHTML, Java, Javascript, Ajax).
8) Leadership skills.
9) Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
10) Organizational skills and attention to detail.
11) Project planning skills ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
12) Experience building working relationships across all levels of the organization.
13) Experience with MS Office Products.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1) Bachelors degree in Human Factors.
2) Experience with usability concepts and various qualitative and quantitative user research methodologies.
3) Experience with user-centered design theory and can apply study findings to a range of past projects.
4) Understand fundamentals SEO design.
